What does the status = “confirmed” or “unconfirmed” mean while adding a subscriber to a list?

You can choose one from three options:  

• Confirmed: – If you select the status “Confirmed,” your subscriber will receive your emails.  

• Unconfirmed: – If you select the status “Unconfirmed,” your subscriber will not receive your emails.  

• Unsubscribed: – This tells us the system that the user has unsubscribed and no longer wishes to receive your emails.
